Fuchsia's Crafty Notions

I recently went to my Brother and sister inlaws ruby wedding where they re-took their wedding vows which was very lovely . This is the card I made for them they like Owls LOL.... It was made using a A4 blanks white card shaded with distress ink Dried Marigold the tree trunk is Idea-ology Retro grunge paper the nest background is a mega curved rectangle nesti die using Core'dinations color core plus Tim Holtz Kraft core for the leaves and the Autumn gatherings die which were distressed with the green shades of inks ... The Owls are a Digi stamp from Charmed cards and crafts Letters and numbers are using glossy red card and Alterations die typeset white lace card is Alterations die vintage lace and Mulberry Butterflies coloured with red promarkers and red beads plus flowers from stash . it looks better up close thanks for passing by x

Finally got round to April its been a busy month so have left it pretty much to the last minute ! followed most of the instructions but didn't have the reflections stamp so covered the tag with Idea-ology tissue wrap terminology and went on from there the tissue didn't take the colors as well as I thought it would but then I like the effect also used Paper Artsy stamps for the words and a little silver princess crown I had in my charm box . Good morning to you on this rainy windy day . As you can see I have moved my stash to my bedroom temporarily as we are due to decorate downstairs this year ,I have managed to find a space at the bottom of my bed for my unit and a little corner for my table so it will not stop me playing plus some of my stash is under the bed LOL. On my table is a picture frame I have tarted up cant see it very well and some practice stampings on mountboard . I have already been playing up here as you can see by the distress ink stain on my cream carpet whoops !! Sorry I am late but poured boiling water over my hand today and its been a bugger to say the least . As it was our 35th wedding Anniversary on Monday and I keep missing my Blog birthday I thought what better day to have a give away . I decided to go on this course with Tim Holtz as I needed a push and a shove and really enjoyed doing it ! Some of them could do with a little more practice but I had forgotten a lot of these techniques and some I really love to do so will definitely be getting my alcohol inks out again this weekend :0)) Thanks for passing by x Day one was introductory
