Tim Holtz April tag of 2012

Finally got round to April its been a busy month so have left it pretty much to the last minute !
followed most of the instructions but didn't have the reflections stamp so covered the tag with Idea-ology tissue wrap terminology and went on from there the tissue didn't take the colors as well as I thought it would but then I like the effect also used Paper Artsy stamps for the words and a little silver princess crown I had in my charm box .

    Lynn, it's a great piece; lovely colours. I like that you didn't have the suggested materials, so you improvised; this way you have something unique and all your own. Beautiful.

Happy Wednesday work space wanderers Well got up this morning and felt like I wanted to paint so finally got round to doing the online course Recommended by Nicks The course is free and is Strathmore online workshops I am doing workshop 1 I think it is still open Anyway I haven't had so much fun in a long time and really enjoyed myself Its called doodles unleashed and it basically bits and bobs laid out on the paper and sprayed with acrylics and then doodled over with oil pastels, acrylics ,water colours ,indian ink, marker pens and a white Tippex pen messed up a bit in the middle but now what to do with it .......... will have to put my thinking cap on If you would like to see more crafty spaces see Stamping ground where Julia will show you more Thanks for passing by have a great week xxxx

Blimey ! where did that week go ? I didn't even realize it was Wednesday Oh well ! Second Christmas dinner went well on Sunday we even had snow how lovely that was ..... Not so nice I have a cough and sore throat hence the sugar free Strepsils on my table .. Also there are stamped out flowers cut and decorated with inks and am trying to pick out some beads .... a tag I am going to try and make a birthday card with ..a seed catalogue as I need to order seeds for the allotment plus my dirty secret my 3DS I have been hooked on Zelda games for yonks! Oh and My Weight watchers journal because if I don't write down what I eat I haven't had it LOL Well thats me done for today if you would like to see much more interesting spaces visit Stamping Ground Enjoy your week xxxx
