Ruby Wedding

I recently went to my Brother and sister inlaws ruby wedding where they re-took their wedding vows which was very lovely .
This is the card I made for them they like Owls LOL....
It was made using a A4 blanks white card shaded with distress ink Dried Marigold the tree trunk is Idea-ology Retro grunge paper the nest background is a mega curved rectangle nesti die using Core'dinations color core
plus Tim Holtz Kraft core for the leaves and the Autumn gatherings die which were distressed with the green shades of inks ...
The Owls are a Digi stamp from Charmed cards and crafts
Letters and numbers are using glossy red card and Alterations die typeset
white lace card is Alterations die vintage lace
and Mulberry Butterflies coloured with red promarkers and red beads plus flowers from stash .
it looks better up close

    The card is lovely. I'm especially impressed by the size. I don't think I'd have the courage to make an A4 card, it's just too big.

Happy Wednesday work space wanderers Well got up this morning and felt like I wanted to paint so finally got round to doing the online course Recommended by Nicks The course is free and is Strathmore online workshops I am doing workshop 1 I think it is still open Anyway I haven't had so much fun in a long time and really enjoyed myself Its called doodles unleashed and it basically bits and bobs laid out on the paper and sprayed with acrylics and then doodled over with oil pastels, acrylics ,water colours ,indian ink, marker pens and a white Tippex pen messed up a bit in the middle but now what to do with it .......... will have to put my thinking cap on If you would like to see more crafty spaces see Stamping ground where Julia will show you more Thanks for passing by have a great week xxxx

Blimey ! where did that week go ? I didn't even realize it was Wednesday Oh well ! Second Christmas dinner went well on Sunday we even had snow how lovely that was ..... Not so nice I have a cough and sore throat hence the sugar free Strepsils on my table .. Also there are stamped out flowers cut and decorated with inks and am trying to pick out some beads .... a tag I am going to try and make a birthday card with ..a seed catalogue as I need to order seeds for the allotment plus my dirty secret my 3DS I have been hooked on Zelda games for yonks! Oh and My Weight watchers journal because if I don't write down what I eat I haven't had it LOL Well thats me done for today if you would like to see much more interesting spaces visit Stamping Ground Enjoy your week xxxx
