New bathroom new mirror

well here is my mirror.
First I gesso the frame and paint with titanium white acrylic next I pick out the colours from the mosaic tiles and sponge the frame using Lumière's pearl blue mixed with pearl white plus halo gold and then metallic bronze mixed with pearl violet,when dry I coated with matt varnish .
Chipboard letters were then dipped in the melting pot using Utee and flex and assorted embossing powders and then stamped into.I then brushed over them with perfect pearls .
Marine life was made using Fimo and moulds and also brushed with perfect pearls.
When gluing on the letters please make sure the Mirror is up the right way like what I did LOL or you will have to re-string the back.

Happy Wednesday work space wanderers Well got up this morning and felt like I wanted to paint so finally got round to doing the online course Recommended by Nicks The course is free and is Strathmore online workshops I am doing workshop 1 I think it is still open Anyway I haven't had so much fun in a long time and really enjoyed myself Its called doodles unleashed and it basically bits and bobs laid out on the paper and sprayed with acrylics and then doodled over with oil pastels, acrylics ,water colours ,indian ink, marker pens and a white Tippex pen messed up a bit in the middle but now what to do with it .......... will have to put my thinking cap on If you would like to see more crafty spaces see Stamping ground where Julia will show you more Thanks for passing by have a great week xxxx

Blimey ! where did that week go ? I didn't even realize it was Wednesday Oh well ! Second Christmas dinner went well on Sunday we even had snow how lovely that was ..... Not so nice I have a cough and sore throat hence the sugar free Strepsils on my table .. Also there are stamped out flowers cut and decorated with inks and am trying to pick out some beads .... a tag I am going to try and make a birthday card with ..a seed catalogue as I need to order seeds for the allotment plus my dirty secret my 3DS I have been hooked on Zelda games for yonks! Oh and My Weight watchers journal because if I don't write down what I eat I haven't had it LOL Well thats me done for today if you would like to see much more interesting spaces visit Stamping Ground Enjoy your week xxxx
