Wow ! that week went quick .
firstly I would like to say a really big thank you for all your lovely well wishes last week I am sure they perked me up no end .

Secondly I have been a really lucky girl and won two blog candy stashes this week so didn't miss not going to AP now plus won £2.50 on the lottery now that doesn't happen to me much in my life so I really appreciate it :o)

Right now this little project on my table is a small mirror I made for lovely My Sister in law last month when she had a special birthday party ,
She is a very talented lady and had made a quilt for courses she does so I wanted to make something to go with it as I new she was going to keep the quilt for herself .
Having not yet seen the quilt I had to only to go by how she described it before making it
well when I saw the quilt I couldn't have matched it more perfectly .

It is just a plain wooden mirror which I stain with the distress stain Broken China then dabbed Lumiere's on it peacock type colors sorry I forgot which ones and I cant get them down to look at the moment .
Made some grunge paper Flowers with Tim Holtz dies Tattered Florals these were stained and lightly dusted with perfect pearls plus the crown and wings are Tim Hotlz Grunge dot elements they were also covered with broken china an given a light dusting with perfect pearls .

    The colours are stunning too, I always love Blue and Green together despite the saying that they shouldn’t be seen together………..never did get that one.

    Your photos are absolutely fine - nothing wrong with them at all! I love your mirror. I am in the process of altering some small square Ikea mirrors at the moment so definitely feel on the same wavelength as you! Hop over to my blog and have a look. How's your ankle? Happy Wednesday work space wanderers Well got up this morning and felt like I wanted to paint so finally got round to doing the online course Recommended by Nicks The course is free and is Strathmore online workshops I am doing workshop 1 I think it is still open Anyway I haven't had so much fun in a long time and really enjoyed myself Its called doodles unleashed and it basically bits and bobs laid out on the paper and sprayed with acrylics and then doodled over with oil pastels, acrylics ,water colours ,indian ink, marker pens and a white Tippex pen messed up a bit in the middle but now what to do with it .......... will have to put my thinking cap on If you would like to see more crafty spaces see Stamping ground where Julia will show you more Thanks for passing by have a great week xxxx

Blimey ! where did that week go ? I didn't even realize it was Wednesday Oh well ! Second Christmas dinner went well on Sunday we even had snow how lovely that was ..... Not so nice I have a cough and sore throat hence the sugar free Strepsils on my table .. Also there are stamped out flowers cut and decorated with inks and am trying to pick out some beads .... a tag I am going to try and make a birthday card with ..a seed catalogue as I need to order seeds for the allotment plus my dirty secret my 3DS I have been hooked on Zelda games for yonks! Oh and My Weight watchers journal because if I don't write down what I eat I haven't had it LOL Well thats me done for today if you would like to see much more interesting spaces visit Stamping Ground Enjoy your week xxxx
