Fuchsia's Crafty Notions

Made this card for our well cool craft Teacher Jamie Rodgers as he had a big birthday this  weekend . It was based in the Tim Holtz March Tag made into a card ! Using distress  paints ranger  texture paste gold embossing powder  archival ink pad  clear embossing powder  the Butterfly stamp from Tim Holtz perspective stamp set and the arrow and Words are Kaiser crafts stamps . Can't believe it's the first time I have  used texture paste I think we will become well acquainted lol . Hoping this will also cover Hels Sunday Stampers challenge "things that Fly" Loved making this 

My local craft store does a monthly challenge pack and this months was to make a mans steam punk birthday card and this is mine. I do only use what is in the pack with the exception of some distress inks .

So Saturday's workshop at Craftmania with the very talented Jamie Rodgers had us making this never ending card . It's was surprisingly easier than i thought it would be . It started life as 4 rectangular pieces of card strategically stuck together then most of the time was spent decorating it . It's called never ending as you can just keep on opening it . It's fun ! As you can see many different sides 

Really enjoy my Saturday's at Craftmania when I can get there . This week we made a gents Valentine card and a tool box which my other half loved .

Ok so haven't been on here for a while time sort of stood still last year with my Mum being diagnosed with Altzeimers and sorting out things for her with the rest of the family . Followed by shingles and a major operation in May . But there were good time my Daughter got married in June and my Son got Married in August it was so nice to see and be part of their wonderful days . The rest of my year I spent learning to crochet at our local craftmania shop going to workshops there for paper crafting and meeting some wonderful people which is what I needed . So hopefully Incan get back to blogging regularly again instead of haunting Facebook 😊. So here is a selection of everything I have done last year and you are getting it all at once . Good to be back .

Well finally got my melt pot out . (thanks Hels) Anyway its stamped on tissue with beeswax to stick it on and loads of inks and acrylic paint ,alteration dies mica sprays and it smells lovely too LOL I did do a purple one too but seem to have deleted the photo will get back to that one LOL Thanks for passing by xxxxxxxx

At last I have begun to do my Evil Elixir bottles from the Andy Skinner online course I signed up for last Summer . I have started making the Demo bottle the Starfish one to get the hang of it I really love this workshop ! Then went on to do this one which was inspired by one of my favorite books The Hunger games If you have read the books you will Know that it involves a poison called Night Lock which is a very dark Berry . Mine doesn't look very dark in the picture but that might be down to the white pearl I used to give them a moon light glow but trust me it is very dark ! I got the idea for the leaves on the bottle from one of my Christi Friesen books . Watch this space for more Thanks for passing by x
