Fuchsia's Crafty Notions

Hi all its been a while but have finally started to stir my Mojo again ! My lovely local craft shop Craftmania have started doing these challenge packs each month and this Month we are being asked to come up with a card from the pack the pack costs £5.99p and there is more than enough to make a few cards or whatever you want . So as it is February I have done a Valentine card as have most this is my card The elements I used from the pack are the blank card ,white textured card ,red and white patterned paper , doilies , red pearl card , white heart paper, red heart paper, green card, red ribbon, a pearl buckle, wooden stickers, buttons, gold bead spray, and the green string . To make the card I used the Tim Holtz distress inks Barn Door and Peeled Paint . Tim holtz Dies Love Struck and Tattered Banners and Type set , Sizzix 3D flowers and Spell binders Lacy squares with Bitty Blossoms Leaves , a very old I love you stamp , red brick Stickles 3Dfoam pads and Cosmic shimmer glue ...

Well I hope you like the joint effort of my Grandsons and mine I took him in the local craft shop and he wanted the dinosaur so bought some decoupatch papers and we had fun LOL The next is the Birthday card I made my daughter last month using a spellbinders media die set and distress inks Thank you for passing by I promise I will Blog more now :0))

But I aim to put that right ! I finally finished the Home frame which has now found a new home in My nephews new abode I painted it with acrylics and stamped/embossed with a fabric stamp plus made some Spellbinder flowers to finish it ! Then the heart box I made using the techniques from Zuzu's petals Blog its quite a good idea so have a look if you havent tried it Thans for passing by x

Hi I havent been around much lately not been in the mood Im afraid but My space shows that I have been a little bit productive with leftovers from my last project and a birthday card I made for my Sister in law which is fashioned on one of the Tim Holtz monthly tags So as I was saying I have not been in the mood what with aches and pains but was just getting back into the swing of it when Monday afternoon I went and slipped a disk so am in flippin agony now :0(( not one to sit about and feel sorry for myself though but have to be careful now so today I am rubbing down bottles for something to do as I have signed up for Andy Skinners course and hope I can get it done ..... I suppose I just haven't been in the mood lately but am getting there again ....Thanks to last months Craft Stamper where Kim Costello had her work published Hats Off ! I decided to make my version for a very lovely Couple Nicks and Matthews silver wedding Anniversary . Now I know its not silver but did put the number 25 on added some grunge board wings as Nicks Believes in Angels plus made the flowers with Glassine paper and Spellbinders Bitty Blossom die just to be different all coloured with Distress inks ...the template can be downloaded from Kims Blog of The craft stamper magazine :0) Thank you for passing by xx

Blimey that came around quick again ! Not much has gone on in my world this week apart from I have finally sorted out my unmounted stamps that are in the folders and now have some sort of order to them well I have seperated the makes and put them in seperate folders then put the names of the makes on the outside of the folders so I dont have to search through everyone of them to find a particular stamps . I recently went to my Brother and sister inlaws ruby wedding where they re-took their wedding vows which was very lovely . This is the card I made for them they like Owls LOL.... It was made using a A4 blanks white card shaded with distress ink Dried Marigold the tree trunk is Idea-ology Retro grunge paper the nest background is a mega curved rectangle nesti die using Core'dinations color core plus Tim Holtz Kraft core for the leaves and the Autumn gatherings die which were distressed with the green shades of inks ... The Owls are a Digi stamp from Charmed cards and crafts Letters and numbers are using glossy red card and Alterations die typeset white lace card is Alterations die vintage lace and Mulberry Butterflies coloured with red promarkers and red beads plus flowers from stash . it looks better up close thanks for passing by x
